generic grid in Arcgis

Hej...

I am working with the climate files from worldclim for a part of mexico.
I have done so far everything on my university-computer with arcgis and
now i want to incorporate also the past-climate data, but they are in
the generic-grid file-format.

There is a way described (workaround) in DIVA with import the generic and
export for a Esri-format. The problem is only that because i don't have administrative
rights on my university-pc to install DIVA and my personal computer at home is tooo
weak to run these big world files.
Is there any way to import these generic bil.-files directly to arcgis 9.2?? and how?
Or maybe somebody wants to transform the files and put them online in a
arcgis-format or a universal format.
