Using "Change Climate" option

Would be good to know what do "temperature" and "precipitation" stand for (are those e.g. annual mean temperature and annual precipitation, or something else) in "change climate" option under "predict" tab in ecological niche modelling - I could not find any description of those in the Manual. And how does exactly the module "Change Cllimate" work? Will be all remaining variables devied from the altered "temperature" and "precipitation" variables? Many thanks for any help on this.
