Climate/Map does not work but Climate/Point is fine

Hi,

I encountered the following problem: I created a shape file of Canada which is my only layer displayed, and I'm now trying to use the Climate/Map option to project minimum temperature. Min Temp is the only variable I'm interested in, hence I did not download and install max temp, precipitation and all the other data. I connected my climate file to DIVA using the Options menu, and Climate/Point works fine, but when I try to use Climate/Map and select Minimum Temperature, I only get an error message "climate files absent or incomplete". I wonder what the problem is, since I believe they are neither absent nor incomplete, because otherwise Climate/Point would not work? If anyone could point me in the right direction, I just don't know what else to try to make it work. Everything seems fine otherwise.
